Welcome to the blog for The Apache-Apple Event Bridge (aaeb). The app is just seeing it’s first public release July 22, 2010. It’s been running in-house for about a year and I finally had the time to prep an installer, some samples, etc.
This blog will be a place to post questions and answers! If a mailing list makes sense, guess I can create one too!
Thanks for your interest,
David Dantowitz
I’ve been looking for something like aaeb for a long time. Is there a forum or mail list for discussions, support, troubleshooting, suggestions, etc?

Hi Greg,
re: looking for something like aaeb for a long time:
Me too, that’s why I wrote it 🙂
This blog will serve as a place for aggregating Q&A.
Group support for AppleScript is available via Apple’s AppleScript list, and probably a few other places. Is there a need to create something new? If so, then it will be created.
Thanks for your note!

About the “video demo.”
I got a little bit lost at the end, but I did want to complement you otherwise on the conciseness and clarity of your screencast.
Hi Eric,
Thanks. Let me know where you got lost — might have over simplified. The key: you write AppleScript code and run it via Apache. (It works and it’s fast!)
